man's best friend

man's best friend - Copper Wire Sculpture

This sculpture represents the carnal nature of mankind. In life, it is often an effort to genuinely put other people before ourselves. To me, the urge to please one's self at the expense of others is like a creature within, and although it should be fought until conquered, it is sometimes easier to make it your best friend.
This piece has been sold to a buyer in Washington.

March 1997 -12cm high, 15cm long and has a 16cm wingspan. (4.7 x 5.9 x 6.3 inches)
